An unusual story

It all started in the middle of August, I was only 13 years old and my family and I lived in our country house in the most remote village in France.

On 18th August 2024, we decided to spend our day by the water at Cap d'Agde.

Without worrying about what could happen in this small village of 500 inhabitants, we had forgotten to secure the shutters of the dining room that opened onto the outdoor terrace.

Not so serious, you might say, but we didn't know it yet, but we were going to regret it.

We had left for 6 hours starting at 10 in the morning.

The day was going well, we were swimming in the warm water of the beach, we had gone for lunch at a nice restaurant, in short, nothing could spoil this day, well, yes; on our return we found the terrace door broken, clothes on the floor, we went upstairs, my grandparents' room was turned upside down and worst of all, no watches left.

They had taken my 2 Swatch Omegas but my father had none of his watches left, his Rolex, his Bell&Ross, his Omegas, etc... Nothing.

We called the police, no fingerprints, the village surveillance camera was out of service. We had given up.

So I started looking for a new watch for my father but also for myself.

I found him the same watches he had with one exception: his Rolex Datejust 36.

I then suggested changing the dial colour and opting for a sunburst green dial instead of his blue dial, he agreed.

On my side, I became actively interested in watches, particularly in high-end watchmaking and self-taught watchmakers.

It was on 19 January 2025, at the age of 13, that I decided to create my watch brand by partnering with two of my best long-time friends.

Chronos Century was launched.

For 4 months, everything went well; we had launched the Triomphe-01, the Olympe-02, and we had everything planned for our future.

Then one day, we noticed that the workload was very poorly distributed, and we decided to part ways.

Each went their own way; one of my partners took the path of his father, the profession of tailor, while the other returned to the normal course of his life.

And then there was me, who was both saddened to know that Chronos Century would be gradually buried, but a part of me did not want to give up.

As they often say: "if you have a dream, you must make it happen".

That said, that done, it was on 12 June 2025 that I founded the watchmaking company Chronos Heritage…
